I don't think they know how the framework works. They say they have been paying more attention but they haven't so they are looking at it all wrong. It's about erasing people biggest regret but only the people hooked up the framework. So Daisy and Ward being together is only because Aida knows about their past. Fitz' biggest regret is yet to be revealed so I'm gonna stay quiet on that. May's is obviously Bahrain which lead to the circumstance we are in now. Coulson wanted to be a teacher. Ward is not good. He is a product of Aida's programming plus the producer's wanting to get Brett Dalton back. He is NOT the great love of Sky/Daisy's life . Stop pretending that is the case!! FFS!

My favorite pod of all Shield. Great concept and a reminder that Fitz is the best actor of the show(Aida is another good choice). Only those plugged by Radcliffe got a regret removed. Daisy and Jemma only replaced their NPCs and had no regret removed.

Thank you guys for doing this show! i look forward to every Tuesday. Also, just to clarify some conclusion, like others have explained, in the Framework each persons biggest regrets were removed. We are slowly seeing what each persons regret is. Clearly with May hers was killing the girl. Since she didn't kill the girl we see the effect that it has. The girl went on to kills hundreds and it gave Hydra the initiative to say that inhumans are bad and move forward in the way that they did. We will see what others regrets are too. Also Jemma and Daisy put themselves in the framework willingly without Aida's ability to manipulate it, so it's different.

I think part of the sneaky brilliance of this pod is showing us how our biggest regrets might actually be more important than we know. Similar to "It's a Wonderful Life", one man's life touches so many others. We can see how small changes could actually affect so many.

Ward isn't necessarily Daisy's wish. They never were able to get her brain scanned to collect data and determine her biggest regret. The fact that she is called Skye in the Framework shows that most likely Aida gathered information from the SHIELD database to build Daisy's perspective.

The captured members of the team have a lifetime of memories inside the Framework. So to them they’ve grown up inside of the Framework meaning, to them, that’s the real world. Imagine someone coming to you and saying that all the memories you have aren’t real and that this world isn’t real. So of course Phil wouldn’t believe Simmons. I believe no one would.

I know it's tempting to correct some of their misconceptions, but I wish some of you guys wouldn't correct them on assumptions that later episodes in the season will explain. I mean, if they don't understand it then, then go wild, but these guys definitely read these comments and it's already caused them to piece together things they otherwise wouldn't have. I don't know, just becoming a bit of a pet peeve of mine.

Don't think that was ever mentioned. There are no Avengers in this world. The events of Cambridge happened several years before the events of Winter Soldier. Cap is still frozen in ice. Hydra took over then and likely took care of Fury along with any other threat.

To clarify, since you guys seem to believe the Framework is programmed to be the ideal version of each of their lives... It's actually only programmed to change their biggest, deepest regret (more or less), so they'll accept the reality they're being presented more easily. For example, May regrets killing the inhuman girl in Bahrain, so she's not fighting against a reality where she saved the girl. Almost everything else is just the simulation running its course, like the fact that the girl from Bahrain was still inhuman, still could take control of people, and still super messed up enough to cause a disaster and let Hydra take over. The exceptions are Daisy and Simmons. They weren't put into the Framework properly, so their brains were never scanned to adjust the Framework for them (same reason they retain their memories of the real world). EDIT: The fact that the Framework changes a person's regret is explained a couple of times prior to this episode, at least once implicitly by Radcliffe to Aida, and once explicitly by Coulson's LMD to May's LMD.
