In my opinion i like the thought of Vegeta wanting to fight all he can, but his body is way too beat up to handle it, and all that energy would go to waste if he continued to endure, so he might as well give all he has left to Goku.

After he fires a FF with all that he has left, he suddenly has enough energy for Goku to turn Blue right away. I was like WTF why didnt he turn Blue if he had that amount? Luv you guys :D
