Simplified: saliva has components that help semi-neutralize certain blood borne diseases, like HIV, and your stomach acid is strong enough to kill viruses, which is what most (but not all) bloodborne pathogens are. Also, many BB viruses require direct transfer, so enough exposure to air will kill them. There is, however, a small chance it COULD still transmit (like 2-4%) so don't drink blood Pat. 🤣 That said, if you have a wound/open sores in your mouth, etc, your risk gets significantly worse. Yes, they intentionally went for the Exorcism imagery. Raven is amazing, and her actress Lindsey Morgan deserves so much praise for this episode. Hell she deserves praise for everything she does. If this show would actually be taken seriously by critics and awards, she should have an Emmy for that performance. Just incredible. Nevermore is probably the best episode of the entire show up to the point where it aired. It is easily the best episode of season 3, and is top 10 for the entire show as a whole, if not higher. As far as Monty goes, poor Monty. Seriously, he had to literally kill his own mother to ensure his friend's survival. Like what? I mean seriously, how fucked up is that? And that's not even half of the stuff he has to do to survive. As far as what your friends said, Nahid, they did not mean that Season 3 doesnt matter, more that season 3 is the weakest season. Each season has a new storyline, but they all build off of past events, so nothing that happens is ever forgotten (save one thing in a later season). It all matters. And they are very right in saying that it only gets better from season 3 on. This show has the ability to completely reinvent itself every season and still keep the quality relatively high overall, and that's a credit to the writers, cast, and crew for putting out such a consistently high quality product year after year. I just hope you guys can catch up for the series finale at the end of season 7. ALIE is played by Erica Cerra (pronounced Sara) from Battlestar Gallactica. Kate Vernon (Diana Sydney) and Allesandro Juliani (Sinclair) are also BSG alums. Fair on the 9.5 Suraj, the show does love it's little cheesy bits of dialogue.

About why Monty didn’t just try to knock out his mum — if you remember when that One Big Dude tried to strangle Emori (the girl that Murphy was with), he wouldn’t budge even after Murphy hit him in the head several times. He only let her go after she slit his throat. So yeah, death WAS the only way to stop his mum. They don’t feel any physical pain, so unless you kill them, they won’t budge. Besides, she was about to kill Octavia, so it was panicked decision. But still great reaction guys! Glad you had fun with this one
