Emerson made his way to the Ark and he knew where it was because back in season 2 Emerson was locked up at the Ark so he must have seen the gang show up and got the element of surprise and he knew to lock them up in the airlock because thats where he was locked up back in season 2.

The reason this never aired at Halloween is because the only season of The 100 to air during the fall TV schedule was season 2. It permanently became a midseason show in season 3. (Yes, the hiatus was awful between seasons 2 and 3.)

2019-09-23 23:13:03 +0000 UTCThe place you are thinking of is Luna's village. It is said to be "to the sea and beyond". Lincoln and Octavia were going to run away to there during season one. This was right before the grounders were going to attack. Octavia went back to help her people. Lincoln went and saved Clarke and Finn. He then told them to go to Luna. Before they could get far the grounders attacked and the 100 retreated back to the dropship. None of them actually went there. (If you watched the next episode like you said you will realize nobody has been there.)
