We're back to Cherie and Crush, and yus everything's building up to the reveal as always, I always feel the need to spoil the entire comic just so everyone won't yell at me 😭😭😭😭 there was one comment on the official webtoon that's like "When are we getting a happy episode in season 3?? the only happy episode in season 3 was the announcement" and it was killing me so bad I'M SORRY!JSDJKASDKJN
It really took me back bc they're right 😭😭, to non-patrons it's pretty much all angst right now and they don't even have cute drawings of Cherie and Crush to cope with.. I get it and I promise there's fluff it just needs to get worse before it can get better, we're almost done with the first arc of season 3 already.. both Cherie and Crush still has a lot of work to do before they can actually move forward with their relationship, and I know it's quite frustrating right now and I can only hope everyone can be patient.. I'm sorry for torturing them so much, it's for their own good I swear.. !!!🙇♂️🙇♂️🙇♂️
Lately, WEBTOON started limiting my episode size, I've had to resize it and degrade the quality every single weeks just to make it work, I've been debating on cutting the webtoon episode length by 10-20% just so it won't become an issue with the uploading, but I know my readers are used to the long episodes and having it cut short might upset some people.. T_T;; but shorter episodes means I have more time in between to rest and draw other things.. And I know only real yap readers would read this far so please let me know if that's something you guys are okay with, I really feel so bad for even asking 😢😢!
I will be moving next week so there won't be an update, I'll have to make an announcement sometimes this weekend about the temporary hiatus, I hope everyone will be okay with it, my Patreon will be paused for about a week and a half .. I'll move the update date of the week back to Friday, too.. Just because everyone associated the Webtoon with the weekend it's been feeling kind of wrong to update on Tuesday tbh😭 So the updates will resume on July 5th, just until I'm done moving into my new apartment.. I'm so sorry...///

2024-06-21 16:51:24 +0000 UTCYEAH I KNOW LIKE the POV switch probably made Cherie less empathetic and more dumb but it's been like this forever, Crush has always acted like this in front of him bc of all the shame unresolved issues, his upbringing, and constant dehumanization in the Syndicate, it all messed him up 😢😢 (AND he had Colie for a mother so.. Major L there) I wanted to yap about this sooooo much bc making your MC unlikeable was really scary to me, even the tender moments where they talk about Crush's past, Cherie always talked about it like it's a terrible thing (it is) but Crush has been so desensitized that he just felt like Cherie is saying HE'S the terrible thing and not what happened to him that was terrible. I want people to love Cherie I DO but he's a person who's very sure of himself, he knows what's right and what's wrong but the lines gets blurred when it comes to Crush who has no concept of his own identity, he had to latch onto Cherie for a sense of purpose. It's literally a recipe for disaster kfgjndkgfjns I do love writing the Crush torture chamber but a lot of times it feels like I'm kicking a puppy and that made people super sad for Crush, and then it turns into people hating Cherie for not helping Crush 😢 He will soon but Crush is soooo emotionally constipated that he has to be pushed to his limits to finally confess. SORRY FOR THE YAP YOSYA i feel like I can only talk abt these things with u and ruby 😭😭 It'll get better I promise..
