Hello everynyan!! I finally finished this on time THNAK GOD 😭😭😭😭😭And yes.. it looks bad, BUT WAIT!!! PLEASE!!!! I'LL REDEEM MYSELF SOON PLSSSS...
There's not much to say about this episode bc I've actually wanted so badly to draw what I had in mind for the season 1 finale (Cherie getting knocked unconscious seeing Crush hurt) LIKE THAT WAS JUST PEAK CINEMA IN MY HEAD, but I never got the chance to execute it bc I felt hurting Cherie that early on would feel super mean.. especially after teh abandonment 😢😭😭😭 But I didn't scrap that idea and just moved it to the later season, you're going to notice that this season is already SUPER freaking long and we're not even at the half way point yet and that's bc of .. stuff like this 🥲🥲 I have some ideas that I just can't let go of unfortunately...
This dream sequence was ACTUALLY Cherie's nightmare (?) for season 1 but yeah it would've been way too heavy for that.. Plus i think it's more appropriate for Season 3 because Cherie probably will blame himself for crush LYING to him (bc they were already together) which leads to him getting mad at Crush, and then getting even madder at himself, hence the harsh things the "Crush" in this dream said, it was basically just a manifestation of his anxiety about what Crush has become (A love object) anyways.. That's so much yapping omfg I'm so sorry.
Either way, Crush is cooked. I might have to take a short break from the doodles because I have to catch up on the comic, I'm slipping behind again 😭 There's gonna be an episode with zero dialogue in this season and I'm so freaking excited to draw it man like honestly... the drawing takes 12 hours but the scripting takes 3 days, and my writing is still ....
