Obviously, the subject matter shines a light on the horrors, and inversely the best of humanity, but there's something even more there that I can't really describe in words. For more in this vein, you should check out "Come and See", about Belarus caught between Germany and the USSR in the late 30's/early 40's. More like this pls (If you all can stomach it lol). It's fully on Youtube for free.
