Hello everynyan! Happy Cherry Crush Friday!!
This episode is a doozy.. soooo much lore drop, mostly abt Crush (world's most cursed boy). I have to confess.. part 2 and 3 got corrupted while I was saving it so I had to redraw everything ALL OVER AGAIN IT WAS SOOOO SICK so I'm sorry if there's any mistakes or imperfections u might see.. 😭😭😭😭😭 I really tried my best to recreate it.. even though u guys don't know what the initial draft looks like but .. it was really good..
Kangshiro origin story is basically set in stone now! They'll be flying away, and everyone can rest assured that Kang will take care of Mashiro, he certainly can't be any worse than Chohan.. for obvious reason😔 I still feel like their story is quite lackluster despite how much screentime they had, but I'm glad i got to show as much as I can.. I tend to write my side characters as if they're the main characters sometimes, but that's just bc each one of my OC has lore and each of them can be the MC of their own comic! However with Kang and Mashiro it was quite tricky bc they started to steal the show from Cherie and Crush a little dskjfndskjna BUT their arc is over now, and I'm so.. glad.. I made it this far..
The Thorne and Chohan scenes were really fun to draw.. their dynamic is soo good, Thorne is so mysterious to most people so whenever he "talks", it's always a fun time to see everyone's reaction. Because Thorne's mute, he communicates by signing, texting, or writing on people's palm, the last method is the most intimate one, so I hope seeing him doing it with Chohan of all people will pique everyone's interest!! ! I'm really sooooooo excited to show more scenes with these two, hehe..
Most ppl have realized that Cherie's been slowing losing his shit ever since he found out Crush lied to him AGAIN 😭 and I wanted this episode to highlight how Crush is as healing to Cherie as Cherie is to Crush, If Crush is too avoidant, Cherie will push him, and if Cherie's too intense, Crush will calm him down. I always struggle a lot with dialogues so this episode was also.. really hard to write. Especially when it's Crush telling Cherie really really dark things about himself, I've had this scene in my mind for a long time, and I still feel like I didn't do it justice.. T_T;; Because I'm the author, I don't really get to read my stuff with fresh eyes, so some scenes that are really impactful don't feel that impactful to me bc I spent 10 hours staring at that panel skjfaskjn
