(EARLY ACCESS) [SEASON 4] Cherry Crush Episode 105

Hallo everynyan! Happy Cherry Crush Friday!

I feel like im writing things way too slow but that's bc this season is the last one and i rly dont wanna leave any stones unturned, obviously things are gonna pick up after the "introductory" phase but this is when things are still nice and smooth, ya know, i might not get chance to explore cherie and crush's softer sides later..? Idk i just feel like theres way too many things i wanna do at once but i can't rush it 😭😭so things feel like they're moving at a snail pace but I PROMISE IT'S ALL ON PURPOSE OKAY I SWEAR..

Part of the challenge in writing this season is that i have to write for a general audience AND the patrons, who are a bit more hardcore with the cherry crush lore, one side has a basic understanding of the webtoon and the other side have a more advanced understanding, so finding that balance is hard bc i know u guys would love an episode where it's just the syndicate members and syndicate lore but the webtoon readers will be super lost if i suddenly pivot to that storyline, so obviously these first few episodes of the seasons are just there to build tension and the lore reveal will always comes at rupture points where the tension can't hold anymore, idk if that make sense but in my head that's how i've always planned cherie crush, i don't love withholding lore in the comic but i also especially hate doing just exposition for no reason more, if things are revealed in the comic it's for a reason, and i always wanna have a reason for why a certain scene is drawn in this time, during those circumstances, with that character in mind, i might just take things too seriously though but imo if i dont take my own yaoi seriously who will... </3

I love doing follow-up episodes where the events of the last one result in the events of the current ones, i love drawing cause and effect and how everything that happens in the comic influence each other one way or another, and i also just like writing scenes where characters get rewarded for doing the right thing instead of you know.. things being super unfair bc the story need the character to suffer for some reason, i really hate that, if i write my characters into a corner that is bc of the choices that they've made that lead them there, not bc the plot need them to suffer at that moment.. I also just really miss drawing cherie crush being sweet to each other 😭😭idk something about drawing them holding hands in an official panel warms my heart sm, but obviously there's some angsty undertones in the comic too bc cherie and crush aren't really seeing eye-to-eye on every issue, and i loveeee drawing character interaction like that, where they looks fine on the surface but you know something's a little off.. it's fucking delicioussss i love it i love when characters say what they mean and neither of them can change the other mind's it's just like how people interact irl i feel...

ANywayss holy yap fest.. this episode was really nice to write and i always love doing character study on baby crush in general he's such a silly little wee lad who thinks life is all sunshine and rainbows.. and how adult crush never lost that innocence bc colie did her job pretty well, even though she herself would think she failed.. i've been complaining nonstop in the patreon posts lately so i don't wanna bore anyone anymore, i just like to yap about storytelling and my ocs in general.. it's a miracle anyone even read my commentary but sdkjfnsdkjn I hope you guys enjoyed this episode and as always i apologize if anything's lacking, have a good weekend everynyan! i lav you..!!
