Hallo everynyan!! Happy new year again! and Happy first Cherry Crush Friday of 2026!!

It's been a really bad last week of the year for me but hopefully this year i'll lock in more 😭😭I know after that huge fight Cherie and Crush had we haveee to get back to the plot and everytime I write politics for the Syndicate im like does anybody even gaf... like i love doing side character work bc i love all my ocs but i know most ppl just wanna see what cherie and Crush are doing.. so even when scenes that dont have them in it i still wanna include them, like most stuff that happens in the webtoon has to revolve around cherie crush one way or another or else it'll bore everyone to death.. but then again kangshiro happened and everyone loved them so what do i know.. 😭😭

I know i keep saying i should take a hiatus but i really really dont want to esp when the story is about to reach higher stakes bc Chohan's getting involved soon, just taking a week off would kill reader attention span so I'd like to keep the comic running for as long as I possibly can, i know most of u guys are kind and wonderful and wants me to rest but i want to give u a good reading experience and u shouldnt even worry about the author anyways u should be here for the comic itself, the last thing i wanna do is disappoint the people who have been so patient with me 😭 and its the last season so theres extra pressure.. i just feel so awful if i just take a hiatus and delay the story even more like i want cherry crush to be binged and not dropped bc ppl lose interest. The comic will always be about Cherie and Crush and the episodes where it's them working their issues out will always be more important than the politics episode but the politics is what drives their stake so I hope I can balance them out properly.. It's crazy that I've been drawing this comic for so long yet I'm still learning a lot, dw this season's not even half done yet 😭😭😭 like im so cooked there's still a lot of plot threads and lore to reveal so... Cherry Crush is gonna be here for awhile.

Cherie and Crush being on a break is tricky to do bc there's never been a time where they're not together since season 2 but it's also really nice bc I get to explore the characters outside of their relationship.. and I feel like Crush needs a break just as much as Cherie does and now that he knows about Colie we're all waiting to see what he'll do next.. AND IM EXCITED TO WRITE ABOUT WHAT HE'LL DO NEXT, TOO..! I hope you'll all stick around to see it.. i really really wanna show everyone where the story'll go. This comic has been my life for the past 3 years and 2025 has been the best year of my life bc my super long hiatus made me realize how lucky I am that I have a whole community supporting me even when i'm struggling.. I really really want to make you all proud in 2026.. and I'll put my money where my mouth is and say that my new years resolution is to finish Cherry Crush to the best of my abilities no matter what!

Sorry for the long long yap.. I'm really grateful that you guys have supported me through out the year 😭I live a pretty isolated life with minimal social interactions so the community is where I socialize most of the time and the kindness and patience youve all shown me is so insane i feel like I don't deserve it, all i do is complain about my chronic pain and unc status but u never made me feel bad for taking a break or not posting often, im really lucky to have fostered a community this nice and I'll do my best to not disappoint you all in 2026..
