Mod souls were never alive btw. They're just artificial souls that were created by the scientists of the soul society. Same with the soul candies but unlike the soul Candies, Mod Souls have actual personalities. For soul candies you just choice one of the 13 available dispenser characters that they have.

She also voices one of Orihime's classmates, unimportant roles but she does voice someone important we know in the future. Sakura's VA voices Karin (Ichigo's sister) and future characters.

You can hear him especially at 4:56 in Ichigo's body when he was serious. Him as Kon (inside plushy) not so much since his voice mostly is comedic. Urahara (shop keeper guy) is Kankuro's voice, so no wonder Suraj likes his voice.
