excellent comments on the nods present in XV to earlier games. I think FFXV certainly requires, as you said, in depth entry into the lore of the game to benefit with the payoffs. Some great points though. I love FFXV, but you tell the truth here. At least, at least the game's key point- brotherhood and supporting Noct fulfil his sacrifice does come across strong in both setup and payoff.
