How do you guys feel about games that have multiple versions but have one story as a whole? Nintendo is famous for sometimes creating multiple games instead of letting it be one thing. Particularly I talk about Fire Emblem Fates. While it was a great story between the three games that came out for it (Birthright, Conquest, Revelations), a lot of people felt uneasy for the fact they had to essentially buy the game three times to get the full experience. However you then had Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons which basically felt like two different Zelda games, but had a special last dungeon if you connected from one to the next which was better. It isn't more about a complaint about this structure as much as just like to hear your thoughts on this type of structure and if you like it, dislike it, or what would you like to see improved on this form of giving the game to their audience.

I am playing Mass Effect Andromeda right now (right after zelda and horizon) and I can tell you one thing: I want my linear, story driven, focused and well paced games back. Open world is vaaastly overated imo and boils down 60 hour colectathons more often than not. It is sad to see that linearity considered an bad trait in games when it is clearly just a game format with as many pros, if not more, as open world. Just wanted to get it out there and ask you how you feel about this.

Do you guys prefer leveling systems where stats automatically increase like in Chrono Trigger or leveling systems where you have to allocate stat points yourself like in Dark Souls?

I've told you guys Legend of Dragoon was my first jrpg. Whenever I'm feeling low I go to my PS Vita and play Legend of Dragoon. There's something about it that reminds me of Christmas morning. Are there any games you guys go to where you get that feeling?

I'm not sure if you guys have talked about this before, but I would be curious to know what some of your earliest video game memories are and what games you feel made you into the gamers you are today.

I've been playing Nier Automata, and one thing that's stuck out is how the narrative design makes it impossible to tell as anything other than a video game. So my question: Have you every played a game with a story focus where the story just couldn't nearly have the same effect if it was told as anything other than a video game? OR better yet, a game you played where you felt being a video game lessened the effect of the storytelling, which would have been better as a movie, a tv series, a book, etc?

These days, it seems most AAA rpgs are action based. Do you think we will ever see a return of classic turn based JRPGs like we saw in the late 90's? What changes do you guys think JRPG's have to make to recapture the popularity they had during their heyday as the flagbearers of the genre?

If/when you have kids, how will you introduce them to video games? What games and systems will you start them with? Also bonus question, rank the Sperry's from best to worst. -Jeff (hardcoor17)

I've got a question, are you guys getting as burnt out on string Orchestra for like every fantasy game? They're fine I don't "hate" it or anything and there's obvious talent etc, but I mean it's getting kinda boring and samey to me. Like why not some Guitars and drums or even EDM, just something. I dunno maybe it's one of the reasons I like Brutal Ledend so much
