On the topic of wanting a party of older characters in a JRPG, have you seen Yakuza: Like A Dragon? It's not a fantasy setting but the majority of the party members are older.

At first I was bummed it was a Q&A ep instead of an analysis. But I ended up really enjoying this one, so much so that I'm excited to hear you guys might be alternating these Q&As in occasionally! I think that'll be a great change of pace and will give you guys a break as well while still providing content for us. Best topics? Artist intent and gamer guilt. Gamer guilt is something I can relate to as I still feel like gaming (at least in my circles) is seen as the activity that the "loser bum who sits on his computer playing online games until 5AM" participates in. I think I've been so drawn to this community because you guys see it as an art form and a medium that combines art, music, story and more. To me it's the same as someone who binges days of Netflix, with games sometimes being even more beneficial intellectually/creatively. In that sense, I've embraced it more as a hobby and something not to be ashamed of, though it's unfortunate the stereotype still seems to exist. I learned something new that the gaming industry is much larger than others in the entertainment industry which I didn't know. Thanks for sharing your thoughts fellas and looking forward to more eps like this one!

I relate too much to the 'we are no longer in the generation that's creating what's cool'. I have two younger sisters (21 & 18 y/o) and they make me feel ancient every day. Mind you, I just turned 29, so I know I'm not old, but I feel very out of the loop with the kids these days. Thanks for the podcast!

Loved to see this in my inbox. I was definitely one of the 10% that was banging on about missing the Q&As, having a slot here or there to fit them is a nice return. The podcasts must take up a lot of time, and between losing the Q&As and the proper reviews being put on a backburner it feels like a lot was lost in that transition. That said, lots of folks became fans through the podcasts, and they're still a good time, so landing on a healthy balance is the best outcome.
