She's a friendly pink-haired girl who's good friends with Rosie, the two serving as the lead singers in a band they formed with Ankha and Tangy. Prepare to see fanart of the two in the near future.
In semi-related news, I watched the Animal Crossing movie today and it was really cute. Not exactly the most exciting film ever but had enough of that Totoro-no-plot-just-vibes charm for me not to mind.
