like rana said sharon’s allegiance is to her little family here i don’t think she feels any obligation to explain herself to any and everybody

I think none left with them because they needed them for the resistance and liberation of the farms and stuff

From weeks of "I don't care about the Caprica/Helo story line" to "FUCK SPACE GO BACK TO CAPRICA" XD

#SundayRundown The human Cylons are identical to humans, they have organs and even human cells. I feel like some of the couch doesn't realize the human Cylons have organs. They have all the organs needed to reproduce, but it's not working for some reason. So cutting Simon open wouldn't tell you anything Rana, although I like that attitude. I feel like that ship (called a "Heavy Raider") that Sharon, Helo, and Kara left on could have fit 10-20 people, kind of a dick move not to take some of Anders people with them. I'm just imagining like 10 empty seats on that thing. What the hell guys?

@Ketty Boomer (from the Galactica) was 100% unaware that she was a sleeper when we first meet her. The whole journey for her character is her realizing that something is wrong with her. The Boomer personality was strong enough to not want her to hurt the people she knows as family but the sleeper protocol wouldn't allow her to willing break cover. That is part of why she tries to off herself but fails. She has the will to do it but her programming literally won't let her. The same way back in season 1 when she saw the readings for water on that scouting mission with Crashdown, and her programming wouldn't let her say anything. She had to use the stimulus of finding the bomb she had unknowingly set in her own Raptor be the catalyst for her reaction. Sharon down on Caprica with Helo did not have an active sleeper protocol at any point. Sharon, 6, and Doral were all working together to use Helo as their little reproductive experiment. What the 6 and Doral didn't fully anticipate is how the Sharon model has a whoie lifetime of memories and relationships from Boomer, so she decided her love for Helo and their possible baby was more important than her cylon conditioning. Something else to keep in mind is that each model we have met so far has a specialty. Sharon is an infiltrator who builds bonds, 6 and Doral talk shit about Sharon back in season 1 because they don't trust her model to not get overly attached to her targets. 6 is like a sexy spy and manipulator, Doral is like an intelligence analyst, Leobin is...weird, Simon is obviously a medic/scientist. All Cylons are multi-purpose but it is interesting that they all seem to have certain design parameters they adhere to. Also the skinjob cylons aren't like replicants from Bladerunner' or the t-500 from terminator, skin over metal internals. Cylons look human down to the blood bone organs, etc. Otherwise they wouldn't have been able to blend in. They just weren't designed with the ability to procreate, at least so far, but they have all the parts from what we can see. They just don't work and we don't know why. The Cylons don't even know why.

In light of how AI and machine learning models are being trained these days, and the inherent bias that they keep finding in these models because of the content they are pulling from to "learn" containing the biases of authors of that info, you can sort of see how the Cyclon's got their obsession. Humans created AI servants to make their lives easier but didn't anticipate them being sentient. Then when they decided to destroy their creations, the Cyclons fought back. At the base level they are as flawed as their creators. So it sort of follows that at some point the Cyclon species essentially had an existential crisis and wanted to know what their purpose was. In that search for purpose they found the faith based systems of their human creators and fixated on that. When thinking in the abstract it is also just a messed parent child realtionship. Now pile on top of that existential angst and shame and anger at being rejected by your human creators. So they decidee they want to supplant the humans and say god actually made humans, create cylons, so cylons are the true children of god, blah blah blah. That is recipe for a tasty little crusade across the stars. Also, it is kinda rad that the Cyclon's worship a single god as opposed to the variation of the greco-roman pantheon that the 12 Colonies worship. It then starts to mimic the whole pagan vs. christian clashes of belief and ideology that has been a plague on human development since forever basically. As melodramatic as this show sometimes is, it was making biiig swings for a cable access sci-fi show.

I like the smaller group because there was much less talking over key moments. :)

I know the 'Pyramid' game sounds ridiculous and out of nowhere but it was actually mentioned in the mini-series while they were playing cards and talking about the latest 'Pyramid Game'. They even have hints of Tigh's wife, etc. tons of background information is everywhere in this show. re-watches are a gold mine.
