There is a Buffy cartoon pilot that is very good and should be watched, the cast comes back except SMG. There is also the original pilot with a different Willow, which is only 20 mins and a fun watch. Lastly i suggest you play the games which are fun and the cast also comes back sans SMG again.

2025-04-25 19:20:13 +0000 UTCAlso, the senator being a demon installed in a human body is a callback to episode 5x2, where we saw that W&H does business with that wealthy, powerful necromancer who was the one performing these demon/human body transfers. Plus, she also mentioned Dr.Sparrow, who is the guy that did Gunn's brain enhancements. That's why Gunn was so triggered when they mentioned him.

That redemption is a life long fight. I wonder if that stemmed from his toxic behaviors in his personal life that he was trying to work out through his art.

Kind of builds off of- If nothing we do matters, everything we do matters. Maybe someone said before to you, but the senator is supposed to be based on Hillary Clinton ..who Joss later went on to vote for lol. 🧐 They ultimately went against this theme at the end of the day, depending on how you look at it.

Love the political commentary about an escaped entity from hell installing itself in a human body in order to run as Senator. Some politicians are so evil that they are literally from hell 😂 . And Wolfram & Hart facilitate them as a part of their apocalyptic plans. So demonic politicians are literally integral to the apocalypse 🤣. Definitely seems like life is imitating art at the moment. The social commentary is so on point this season.

2025-04-24 22:25:44 +0000 UTCI cant believe we've finally made it to the penultimate episode of Angel, ive enjoyed this ride, also along with buffy, and so happy that more and more people are finding the buffyverse, annd Whedoverse including Firefly. After Angel i was lost in what to watch next but then came so many other shows to that followed the same format, and as the writers and staff moved on to bigger things; Dollhouse, supernatural, lost, veronica mars, and smallville, which leads into the arrowverse. without buffy/angel they go hand in hand, without them we wouldnt have the media we have today. 2025-04-24 21:29:05 +0000 UTC#SundayRundown WHEWWWW almost there. I will say I THINK the angel goes dark story COULD have worked. Its happened before (season 2) but it maybe needed more time? There's been lots of rumors for years about why angel ended here. The most popular story goes that joss got fed up with them always dangling the renewal over his head despite ratings and views and so he made an ultimatum and it WENT POORLY lol It was also said by some exec (I don't remember how far up) at the time that canceling it was probably a mistake so, live and learn? There's also some debate on if it forced the back half of the season to go the way it did, I always assumed so as a kid but I've heard things the last few years that suggest it went how it was originally going to with some...rushed loose ends being tied. I know you've probably already seen it but I'll hold my finale thoughts for the finale and simply say these two things 1 - I think the thing that really ruins the angel plotline is the scene with nina. Its SO good I LOVE her in that scene but thats the sweep away of any real doubt anyone has about if angel is playing a long con or not. 2 - 'I can't order you to do this, I can't do it without you....think about what I'm asking you to do...think about what I'm asking you to give' is such a hard line and I LOVE that SPIKE is the first to agree. He's come a long way from William, William the Bloody, and even Spike the vampire slayer...slayer...

I bet this is how each of them react to the finale next week (theyve already watched it): Suraj will love the ending Rana will be PISSED about the ending and slightly in denial Spidey will think it's good but will make a joke about getting blue balls Pat is always a wildcard... but I think he's gonna hate it lmao This has been fun guys!

The conclusion to the season may be a little rushed but damn if it ain't good. They managed to tie a lot together so well. Can't wait for the finale, which is a near perfect episode and finale in my opinion, that really captures the theme of the show.
