Whenever there's an anime fight that's "too fast to see", I always think back to this episode and the whole - "16 times" "I only saw 8" "I only saw a flash" "I didn't even see the flash" - thing. 😄 Rent-free forever.

Kurama - Fights with flowers and is very analytical. He’s the brains of the group Hiei - Very antagonistic to the group but secretly likes everyone. Extremely quick and nimble and fights to send things quick. Kuwabara - The tank/dolt/power through character that wins through luck or on the field thinking. Yusuke - The anchor of the group. Usually fights last and always fights the strongest antagonist. You’ll see it more in the next arcs.

2025-03-06 01:41:37 +0000 UTC#sundayrundown Considering toriyama introduced trunks only like 7 months after Hiei was introduced in the yuyu hakusho manga, i could 100 percent see toriyama saying "damn i need a cool sword guy now" and making trunks, but its all fair because Togashi has stated Hiei is inspired by Vegeta and even called Toriyama "god" at one point lol
