The thing about Saw’s attack in this episode is that even if he succeeded in killing Tarkin and Krennic he wouldn’t have stopped the Death Star’s construction. Someone would replace them, and remember the only reason Jyn’s Dad was able to hide the thermal exhaust port weakness into the Death Star and delay it’s overall construction was because of his previous friendship with Krennic during the Clone Wars. If Krennic died here he would have been replaced by someone who didn’t have a connection to Jyn’s Dad and thus probably would have realized he was stalling the construction or even discovered the exhaust port sabotage. Meaning that not only would the Death Star have been finished earlier in the timeline but it might have also been built without the very sabotage that allowed the rebels to destroy it, if the rebellion would even organize before the Death Star finished construction in this new timeline. Saw’s whole mindset is short term gains and refusing to change his strategies when someone offers a better solution. Even during the Clone Wars he was like that, when his sister was elected the leader of their resistance against the Separatists instead of him, Saw throws a fit and runs off into the night drinking, when his sister orders him not to rescue the King because she thinks it would be easier to rescue him in broad daylight, Saw disobeys and gets himself captured, when a droid gunship is retreating from battle, Saw arrogantly goes out of his way to show off and shoot it down, and then that gunship crashed into and kills his sister. Even after that he doesn’t change and just double down, following impulsive decision after impulsive decision. He’s fighting for a good cause, but the way he refuses to listen to others is a repeating issue that often causes more harm than good.

#SundayRundown #StarWars Seems you guys might have forgotten but Project Stardust is the code name for the Death Star Project which was mentioned in Rogue One along with Mark Omega which refers to Omega specifically. Given Filoni was uninvolved with Rogue One, you have to give the man credit for incorporating elements from the movies to further expand the world and lore of star wars. I also find that the last two episodes is two of the most memorable episodes of the series

#sundayrundown I was really struck by how this episode deepened the stakes for the Bad Batch, with the clone rebellion narrative intensifying after Echo’s shocking alliance with Rex and Gregor. The episode takes the historically rich and visually stunning world of Eriadu—Grand Moff Tarkin’s home—where past events mingle with present turmoil. Saw Gerrera’s extreme tactics, which once again backfire, expose the Bad Batch to harsh Imperial forces, leading to the loss of their homing beacon and adding another layer of complexity to the ongoing conflict. What hit me hardest was Tech’s tragic sacrifice—a moment that resonated with echoes of “plan 99” and the deep-seated legacy of past clone heroes. This loss isn’t just a plot point; it feels like a poignant reminder of the high personal costs intertwined with the fight against oppression. There’s a lingering sense that in Star Wars, death might just be a precursor to unexpected twists down the line, leaving me both pensive and eager for what comes next.

#SundayRundown Bad Batch Andrew Kishino was Saw’s original voice from Clone Wars. And it’s not so much they did away with the Forest Whitaker look, they just adhered to his original Clone Wars look, which timeline wise just ended months ago. Kilk Klak the geonosian didn’t have the plans to the Death Star, he just knew about it and was drawing it in the sand, and multiple things were assumed to be what he was drawing. Without some way to translate, it wouldn’t have mattered if Saw went harder Speaking of Rebels, I forget, did you guys look up Rex in Return of the Jedi? Filoni semi retconned that he was this old bearded rebel on Endor called Nik Sant. He decided not to decanonize the character, but it was confirmed Rex was on Endor and in the rebels finale he has almost the exact same look

"Premium Access: Star Wars: The Bad Bath 2x15." What kind of horny shit is this?

Big Time Knights

Given what’s about to transpire in the next episode, Tech seemed to have come to peace with Crosshair as he is the first to willingly lead the charge to rescue Crosshair, with Wrecker and Omega taking the opportunity to get him back as well. Also reflecting on the show thus far, Omega’s relationship with Hunter and Wrecker seemed to be the focal point of season 1, then in season 2 we see the focal point shift over to Omega’s relationship with Echo and Tech. I’m gonna have to fax you my therapy bill and tissue orders for when you react to Plan 99 because of how much there will be to process.

#SundayRundown It's wild that they got Ben Mendelsohn back to voice Krennic at the Imperial bad guys meeting and he only said one line.
