Hey, two quick questions for the fans. Does it seem Weyland - Yutani has a pretty clean reputation in this time period, considering absolutely everyone that has an opinion is in favor of Kavalier giving the remaining eggs and alien species back, even though they’re a potential species ending event along the lines of a pandemic with super fast claws and teeth? Including Kavalier’s executive assistant, who HAS to be a synth (did you catch the speed of that ball catch?!). And I just forgot the second question.

He’s a complete moron with zero subtlety that will get half the hybrids killed if he doesn’t learn to shut up, listen, and keep his eyes open before doing anything. He’s on a classified research facility in the middle of the ocean that’s run by one of the five most powerful beings on earth. He is way too willing to stand up to a CEO that could probably feed him to that eye alien with zero legal consequences.

2025-08-28 13:24:59 +0000 UTCNoah Hawley is very much not a fan of Prometheus and Covenant and basically said they were useless for this show. •from the get-go there’s inconsistency. The original specimen mission from Weyland Yutani would’ve left in 2055. From prequel movie lore, Weyland and Yutani were separate companies until 2099 The president of FX said the show exists parallel to the films. “Everything doesn't have to fit together the way you expect from Marvel” So more than likely this will only connect to Alien and Aliens in its own continuity.
