He kept up with harribel for the entire fight, resurrection harribel, who is 100% faster than pre resurrection grimmjow, who was faster than bankai ichigo, who was faster than byakuya, who was faster than yuroichi, who it was shown is actually faster than soi fon and was holding back vs soi for. So either A toshiro keeping up with harribel puts him way above yuroichi and soi for in speed, or B all the characters in bleach (except top teirs like shunsui and yamamoto) consistently get faster and stringer, and using feats from an earlier arc is not solid proof of potential in later arcs, meaning soi fans feats in soul society kinda amount to nothing. And if matching the 3rd Espada makes you a scrub, I guess ichigo was a scrub for most of the arc then because he couldn't even match the 4th Espada for most of it

Lisa, Hiyori both engage Halibel along with Hitsugaya and still didn't put a scratch on her. Hitsugaya was never really a match for Harribel. What does Stark being faster that Ichigo and Kenpachi have to do with Harribel speed scaling? Also stop spoiling future events, you don't need to bring later events on this current arc to try to convince that Hitsugaya is strong. I read the entire manga when it first came out, your not going to change my mind that current Hitsugaya is a scrub.

You can heal suzumebachi because 1 it's a poison and 2 unohana was literally healing kenpachi after killing him, the vizirds track record is because they constantly god matched up against their worst opponents, but their abilities all counter soil for in a way. And here's the funny thing, byakuya was shown to outsized yuroichi in flash step, and from what we see in later fights, byakuya us not much faster than any other current captain, hell ichigo was faster than him, that same ichigo was slower than non resurrection grimmjow and ulqiorra, who are both below harribel, and toshiro kept up with resurrection harribel, so by scaling, toshiro is actually faster than byakuya. Shunsui also kept up with stark, who pre resurrection moved faster enough to show up, grab onetime, and move back to the castle before ichigo or kenpachi, both people shown to be faster than byakuya, could hit him or chase

Ukitake has a lot but the majority of it is used simply to keep him on life support. Yoruichi is literally known as the Flash Goddess for her flash step and was still slightly slower than Soi Fon. Shunko had nothing to do with speed in that fight. It was simply used to overpower Soi Fon's incomplete Shunko. Suzumebachi is not an ability that can be healed, Hitsugaya's ice is not equivalent to BG9's armor, and the vizards aren't even worth discussing with their track record. Mayuri would definitely have a counter as he likely does for every captain.

Shunko is what makes yuroichi so much faster, her actual flash step is good but it doesn't outclass all the ither captains. And notice how I said "ways to defend against it" unohana could get hit and just heal herself, toshiro could block the attacks with ice as we've seen suzumebachi can't pierce hard things, Kensei is the most skilled at hand to hand so she would have a hard time with him, rose can just trap her in sound illusions, shinii would make her unable to function, miyuri probably already has an antidote in his body against her since soi fon literally calls it a poison, literally the only captain her shikai has a good chance of working on is komamura, the other weakest captain

And Aizen is an anomaly. Only beings with immeasurable reiatsu like Ichigo, Kenpachi, and Yamamoto are capable of negating her shikai. And out of those 3 Yamamoto is the only one skilled enough to do so.

I also like how the Normies initially guessed they were stolen and not sealed before the whole 13 Court Guard Squads. They would be competent Soul Reapers.

2025-01-02 12:00:35 +0000 UTCFirst off no, because she's not much faster than the other captains, that's shown pretty clearly when she also gets easily outmatched by yuroichi once ehs stops holding back, and second her shikai wouldn't work on most of them, because either A they have a way to defend against it, or B her shikai wouldn't even work on half of them to begin with because they have vastly higher spiritual pressure than her, remember having enough raw reiatsu literally let's you negate others abilities, and soi for has some of the lowest reiatsu among the captains so alot could just ignore it wven if they didn't dodge or block it, she also has probably the worst durability of the captains.

According to Kubo in Klub Outside(which is a place people can ask Kubo questions similar to One Piece’s SBS), when asked what male characters he considered to be the most handsome, he replied with, “Toshiro, Byakuya, Szayel Aporro(Mad Scientist Espada) and the long haired blond Quincy. That last one isn’t hard to imagine especially how Navi and Rana reacted to him first being on screen. 😅 Kubo says they fit the “beautiful character” archetype so he drew them accordingly.

Quincies are basically humans by nature, they share a lot in common with Fullbringers. So yes, they have been exterminated in the human world 200 years ago, like Ishida told us, and then their souls have probably been sent to the Soul Society, because that's how Soul Reapers operate, they don't destroy souls, they "Exorcise" them through a ritual (which we've seen Ichigo perform in the first arc of the series on some human souls). But somehow they became Quincies once again after their human death. Also, no, this is not a spoiler, it's not ever explained directly, it's just implied because the viewer is supposed to always keep in mind that souls never truly die, they just transition between the 3 worlds. Because of cultural differences it's really not highlighted a lot, it's supposed to be just obvious, but it's not that obvious for us, we just think of Heaven and Hell as eternal final destinations after death. **Extra Note** There are more worlds than just 3. For example The Dangai (or Precipice World) itself is a realm. There's also Hell. Those who know, know. (\o/) (/| \)

Of course he would be dead if aizen wasn't a troll, so wouldn't literally every captain, and gin is also one of the strongest so yes he would lose if gin was serious, reminder gin was toying around with bankai ichigo. As for soi fon being above him, no she did literally nothing to barrigan except lose an arm until hachi, the most OP kedo user we know, shows up and even then they only win because of hachis plan, nothing about the win against barigan has anything to do with soi fon, while toshiro and harribels fight is an unknown if they kept fighting 1v1, it's very clear soi for was dead without hachi. And as for her catching yuroichi, that same fight literally shows yuroichi was holding back the whole time, and you have no proof that toshiro can't catch her, that's just a headcannon you have, it's never been stated or even alluded to

If Aizen wasn't such a troll Toshiro would be dead back in Soul Society, same thing happened with Gin he wasn't really trying to kill Toshiro and make him look a lot stronger than he actually was. I would put Soi Fon above Toshiro just based on her feat against Barragan who was a much dangerous opponent, and actually tagging Yorichi something Toshiro could not do.

2025-01-02 01:24:58 +0000 UTC#SundayRundown #BLEACH So about Hitsugaya. He is INSANELY powerful, and one of the strongest captains, despite how young he is. The problem is that, while he is in a lot of the story, he doesn't get into a lot of fights, and the ones he does get into are plot-related and require his opponent and him to end in a draw, or for the opponent to reveal JUST HOW INSANELY STROG THEY ARE by blindsiding Hitsugaya. It's a similar problem with Renji, but while Renji just keeps no-selling in his battles, Hitsugaya at least wins temporarily...before an outside force rescues his opponent from his ice, so they can die to someone else later for the plot. 😭 Interestingly, even though Rukia has far less control over ice, she has a better track-record of freezing her opponents TO DEATH. Hitsugaya's done it once, with Shaulong, Rukia's done it twice, with D-Roy and Aaroniero. Thing is...there is something to that. Keep it in mind. 😏 FYI - You aren't supposed to know someone's name until they say it, and/or get that funky title card. Not a big deal, it's not like there's a Kurama-style reveal here, but I DO wish the subs wouldn't reveal the names of people who haven't been named yet.

2025-01-01 21:52:53 +0000 UTCUh no, no toshiro was matching the 3rd Espada harribel, he is definitely not the weakest, that would be soi fon, toshiro is also above komamura, rose, and kensei and you could maybe argue him as above shinji but thats a maybe so toshiro is either the 8th or 9th strongest captain, him being young is the only reason he isn't the strongest, as shunsui literally said, in 100 years toshiro will likely surpass even him, and shunsui has been a captain for nearly 1000 years

After all his limbs were paralyzed and he couldn’t move he used Ransotengai similar to a puppet to move his body. The Bleach OST’s by Shiro don’t stop getting crazy either, Cour 2 and 3 also have a ton of new tracks/ remixes that you might not even recognize since it sounds so different And Suraj is correct TYBW is absolute Cinema that’s what everybody says, also fun fact TYBW COUR 3 is literally the highest rated anime season of all time on IMDB every epsiode above a 9/10. Everybody absolutely loves it, that goes to show this adaptation is truly special. I can’t wait for Cour 4 but thanks to you guys it will be easier watching your reactions until then

This form is supposed to represent an archangel, with the bells and angelic design; and as Quilge said, his form is supposed to look creepy to sinners, in this case the soul reapers. Also, his power Sklaverei is a technique all Quincy can use but only he can use it to the extent of absorbing other beings made of reishi, as confirmed by Kubo in an interview. The name of his Holly form is Piskiel aka “Justice of God”. Now in ep 4 various Quincy are shown to have ways to portect themselves, As nodt used Blut, the claw guy turn his skin grey, and the guy with the helmet also seem to be armored, wich made most of their shikai useless forcing them to go Bankai. And now you finally notice that certain characters are typecast, Shunsui fights enemies with guns, Byakuya fights enemies that mess with your head, and Kenpachi fights people who claim to be the strongest,(example, Nnoitora, Yammy, time tells no lies)

One thing I'll say Naruto sad osts are sadder imo. Not taking anything from Naruto osts but Bleach osts are the best idc. Glad yall are loving the remixed osts in TYBW. I saw this coming, I knew you were all gonna gush about the soundtrack, it continues to be outstanding in this adaptation. Sagisu has posted videos on his twitter about his production with his whole team and it's such a great insight into his genius. He's also done an interview where he's said that Aniplex was in its infancy when they approached him, and while he was given direction, he seemingly had creative freedom as he stated that "the music in BLEACH really represents the music of my life itself. This is my representation. I like to mix a lot of elements and I pretty much represented everything I like within BLEACH's music." If anything, we see that tenfold in the TYBW, that violin remix was sensational, I'm so happy you pointed that out. Onto the content, I don't think any episode thus far showcases the vulnerability of the Soul Reapers than this one. Not only were Bankai's stolen, Mayuri didn't have enough information to counter it, Captain level people were overwhelmed, and they couldn't even penetrate the Quincy's defences. Shout out to Navi for almost immediately deducing that they were using reishi to defend, which Urahara later confirms. Whereas Soul Reapers don't have any ability to defend themselves, unless they're naturally invulnerable such as Kenpachi. These are the differences that make this a massacre, regular seated members are blown to bits. Something that has always perplexed me, ever since I originally watched the Soul Society arc as a kid, was the fact that Uryu, and by extension Quincies, seem to be in their element there. It's no surprise that Mayuri had warned about something like this happening, it's a massive weakness. Since they can obtain an ability that subordinates reishi, and as Uryu mentioned, every part of the Seireitei is composed of reishi, it leads them to be incredibly vulnerable to a Quincy invasion.

They can do it in their vollstandig form, as everything is made up of reishi. The sternritter are not like the fracciones. They are Yuha Bach's main soldiers. In fact, they are above the Espada IMO. They are the real deal. Note: Every episode is titled after a relative manga chapter title. The order/timeline of some of the events and sequences that happen in the manga have been restructured in the anime, and many comedic relief spots have been left out from the anime. Some characters now have their manga-accurate appearance such as Sasakibe's no-pupil eyes, Rangiku's dirty-blonde hair, and Nel's green hair. Refresher about a couple philosophies you guys brought up: Hisagi - One who isn't afraid of battle or wielding a sword doesn't deserve to wield one at all. Kira - Squad 3's flower emblem is a marigold representing despair. War isn't glorious. It's full of pain and despair. The way you pronounce Bambietta's name is not Bambeeeta, it's Bam-bi-etta
