2025-09-26 17:42:48 +0000 UTCI know people shit on Tyler's character but for me he's the most interesting, especially being an original monster that really hasnt been seen in media before and also his backstory is just tragic so I can't wait to see what they do with him (the actor is so good and I'm glad he's getting more roles, he's good at playing psycho haha). Also guys I know you do polls for shows but PLEASE react to Percy Jackson and The Olympians show on Disney+, right now it's only 8 eps (20-30ish mins per ep) and season 2 comes out in December so it'd be a great time to start it

2025-09-25 08:57:41 +0000 UTC#SundayRundown #Wednesday. Not a rant this time, (Edit: it's a rant) although I could very well write an angry essay in the comments, I'll just share my final thoughts. The second part of season 2 was much better, but overall I give this season a 6.5 maybe a 7 out of 10 not a bad show, but not spectacular either, which is totally fine but that is why I think I get so disappointed with it, because I can easily see it being better but it never gets there. I agree with most of the reviews saying that Wednesday has all the ingredients, great characters, interesting world, fun mystery. But it never utilizes any of them to the fullest, except for the freaky friday which was my favorite, however even then they fumbled by having Bruno be an ass, which surprised no one and shows Wednesday that Enid... gets cheated on? And she relates to that how? It would have been perfect if instead of Bruno's plot it was Enid's mom who is shown to be disappointed with her and have Wednesday see the difference between an actual bad parent and Morticia who cares and have her learn from that experience but nah, teenage edgy romance plot we go. . Also! Enid is a powerful and dangerous alpha wolf, but we never saw that, we just saw her dig up Wednesday and run off, not fight like last season or even a emotional goodbye from Wednesday, which Suraj was right she didn't have any meaningful arc, she got her powers back without learning to solve the mystery without it, and her relationship with Morticia is practically the same when it began, and I don't buy Wednesday's not one for emotions, sorry but that's a crutch for weak writers. Sure she doesn't like touch and smiles and joy, but we literally saw last season she hugged Enid and saw she genuinely cares and worries for family and friends. It doesn't need to be out of character to show she is sorry and have an moment of being vulnerable, it's the writers job to have that nuance make sense have the audience see her character grow not be stagnant and blame it on that's "just how Wednesday is" no idea where Tyler's arc is headed (hopefully not redemption because I don't think they can make it compelling enough) I am happy next season is back to being Wednesday centric and not the Addams Family Drama, but sad to say I am hoping they get some better writers.
