Ready to get Invoke AI rolling on a Blackwell GPU? Below are all the commands and links I used in my latest video. Letโs roll! ๐ฌ
๐ฏ 1. Check Your CUDA Toolkit
Make sure youโve got NVIDIAโs CUDA installed and up-to-date:
nvcc โversion
๐ฆ 2. Meet UV Package Manager
A lightning-fast, modern package manager for your Python workflows. Check Version:
uv โversion
๐ 3. Install UV
Pick your poisonโpip or PowerShell. Your call
pip install uv
or, if youโre on Windows PowerShell:
powershell -ExecutionPolicy ByPass -c "irm https://astral.sh/uv/install.ps1 | iex"
๐ 4. Activate Your Virtual Environment
Keep things spick-and-span by isolating your project dependencies:
Activate Virtual Environment:
.\.venv\Scripts\activate
๐ฅ 5. Get Torch (CUDA 12.8 Pre-Release)

uv pip install --pre torch torchvision torchaudio --index-url https://download.pytorch.org/whl/nightly/cu128 --no-deps --force-reinstall

Hi, Invoke AI in the latest version supports the 50XX series GPU nativly. So maybe a fresh install will help you.
