In the chorus, I can’t really hear their voices over the instrumental. Funnily enough, I feel like the second Blue Team song could also use some audio tweaks, particularly making the softer voices more hearable like Marissa’s. Songs are absolute bangers though! Love the fact that this was a non-elimination challenge

It seems the girls alliance is on its last leg, Logan and Richard may have new possible allies in Isabelle and Natalia, Tristan is making connections outside of Zaid and Ivy, Jade is branching out, and even Benji is gaining possible allies. I’m really excited to see how things progress.

Though, I won’t lie… I’m a bit worried about the Girls Alliance. Isabel and Natalia both know Lynda cannot re-join their alliance and know she cannot be trusted. I wonder what Natalia is going to do after seeing the ending scene. Plus, the Ivy X Zaid scenes and the Marissa X Anastasia scenes were just… beautiful! Though I felt so bad for Tristan. They definitely need a hug and I’m honestly a bit nervous for them for the next episodes to come. (I hope Hannah’s friendship curse doesn’t return, seeing what happened to Amelie and Diego)

Ivy getting destroyed this episode was very satisfying to see given her growing behavior in the game. Tristan got some pretty decent development and might even form a relationship with Benji. Also, I’m glad to say that Benji DIDN’T cause any cringe this episode. Jade is definitely pulling a smart move by forming a backup to go against Spencer. Natalia and Isabel are going to be pulling some strings behind the scenes, that’s for sure given what they do in the episode as the besties they are. Of all the people who knew Logan’s secret, of course it was athletic star Richard. Hopefully this will be kept between them and can form a great coach and athlete relationship. Marissa and Anastasia kissing was like, AMAZING TO THE MAX!!! This is probably one of the most memorable new cast members of 18 players, which also bested Total Drama for having a more likable 3rd generation cast. “I Don’t Care” and “On My Way” are definitely the best songs from both teams. If I had to guess based on this episode, Ivy and Lynda will go home next.

Huge cheers! Pretty satisfying seeing Ivy knocked down a peg and the Zaid/Ivy moments. There were many gorgeous bonding moments in this episode, actually. We’re really being treated this season! Spencer’s a real insecure person, but pretty skilled with the burns. Ivy, Zaid, and Spencer’s bit seemed like something pulled out of a Disney movie, but still entertaining. Wonder what Natalia’s up to… Finally, Trevor and Emily seemed to be back to what it once was and I totally saw the “coffee” comment coming at the end of the shoutouts. Damn, I’m good! 9.7/10

I can't contain how excited and happy this episode has made me feel and this is extra proof as to why I believe Odd Nation Cartoons are geniuses in the fandom. Relationships, repertoire, representation, rivalries, this episode had it ALL and no matter what happens, you guys will always have my respect and love. As always, keep up the amazing work guys, trust your gut hearts to you all and I can't wait for the next episode after this because this is where the game truly begins.

Emily is getting her redemption arc and i can't wait to see where it will take her, especially now that she and Trevor seem to be in a better place and may become friends again for the right reasons this time. Derek might take some time to do the same but I hope it doesn't drive him and Trevor apart now that the Trevek shippers won out. All I can hope is that things don't turn sour for Emily once again cause with where she's heading, she might escape neutral status and make her way to the like or love tier where she belongs.

2025-01-28 22:13:46 +0000 UTCThoughts: Relationships, romantic and platonic, have taken more positive steps this episode and I'm in love too. 1. Zaivy and Maristasia both kissed, sure it might have been in a musical number but the chemistry was there and i can't wait for these two ships to take form on a later date. 2. The friendship between Jade, Tristan, Hannah and Benji is in it's early days and this is something I'm looking forward to seeing more of. Jade and Benji's superhero talk, Tristan and Benji's confidence boost, Tristan and Hannah's hardship bond, i was living for all of it. 3. Richard and Logan continuing their mentor arc and keeping Logan's Olympics secret was so heartwarming to watch and i hope Richard could play a part in Logan's potential coming out arc. 4. Finally, Natalie and Isabel having second thoughts about the girls Alliance and possibly siding with Logan and Richard is also something and if the plan works, the game is going to get even more exciting.

No Alliance or tribe is solid anymore and if you ask me, this is a fantastic way to write it. All of them have their own insecurities not solely about their Alliance position but of themselves and these layers is what makes this divide so remarkable. Now, the game is getting turned on its head in all the right ways and I'm all in.

Don't get me wrong, last season's musical episode was good but this season's knocked it out of the park. Every musical number was a peak performance and banger, all of the actors had amazing singing voices and I got to fall in love with this cast even more for it. It's hard to pin point a favourite number because of how blown away I was by it but Odd Nation Cartoons, I LOVE YOU! Whooo! Okay okay, time for me to calm down my inner fangirl.

She seemed to only be mad at Spencer, but all 6 of them were allies. Would have liked a scene where she calls Ivy out for betraying her, making it clear the alliance between those 2 groups is done

My personal favorite was Hannah, Tristan, Jade and Benji's but Anarissa's kiss was my favorite moment. The interactions all around were great. I liked Benji and Hannah's dynamics with Jade and Tristan this episode. Lynda trying to play girlpower activist and Anastasia not buying it whatsoever was really funny. Ivy was my favorite this episode. They did a great job with more in depth to Ivy's character and her little moment with Zaid at the end was very sweet. Overall: at least a 9 imo

They’re trying to be the best couple!” I mean, with Anastasia & Marissa, Benji & Tristan, and Ivy & Zaid, it definitely feels like the hosts are getting competition. Though I’ll have to dock points like the judges did to Ivy for how much of a spoiled ‘princess” she was this episode on Ivy & Zaid.

2025-01-28 20:13:09 +0000 UTCThe Anarissa was so good 😊 I’m so happy and when Anna said she wanted to be “extra sure”, I lowkey think she meant extra sure about her feelings for Marissa rather than extra sure about them winning the challenge. I loved how she promised a next time 😏 Also, Trevor is a hater, that performance should’ve been a perfect 30. Also the Zaid x Ivy moments were also great! 😊 I’m happy that Zaid comforted Ivy after they changed the score and was nervous about kissing her. They are too sweet. I’m interested to see what happens next with Isabel and want to know what Natalia will tell the guys.
