2025-05-31 14:30:09 +0000 UTCThe fact Benji compared himself to being the Pikachu to Hannah’s Ash seems quite accurate seeing Hannah’s breakdown during Benji’s elimination. He was the most important person to her, and the fact her supposed closest allies basically hurt her by voting out Benji behind her back is a very heartbreaking feeling indeed. Benji has spoken more about his romantic interests in Tristan in this interview than very flustered Tristan was in theirs. Oh well, at least good news is the fact that both Tristan and Benji are most likely not winning comebacks, so we will see those two get together while they wait and go to the losers motel and build upon their relationship more. If it can happen with Ashley and Will, it can happen with Tristan and Benji as well. Benji was very Benji this whole interview, especially during the ending as Emily just cuts the interview, lol. And yeah, we all expected him to be out very soon during the beginning of this season (I initially had him placing rank 16th for predictions before). But he definitely showed how he grew as a character…in his own way. There’s really no one else like Benji in this series. Also, got to love how Emily is faking being sick even during after the episode before this interview. I imagine this will cause some drama with the hosts and threatening her service during the show or something dramatic for why she had to lie to begin with. Anyways, can’t wait for the next episode and interview (and hopefully I don’t get too sad about who gets eliminated next)

Plus the Hanji friendship is peak, it’s probably best they don’t become a couple. Probably wouldn’t have worked out long term and they’re better off as best buds, but things can change. I also hope he can get things patched up with Zaid. Definitely my favorite character out of any generation of DC so far and who knows, maybe he can comeback.
