--FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE--
Following consultations with officials, coaches, and players, The Cordelian Committee for United March Madness (CCUMM) would like to share its decision regarding the events surrounding the Skeet Sixteen® match between Kreedis and Stirfry in the 2021 Rude March of Madness™. At the scheduled time of the match, Stirfry failed to appear. As has been reported by several major media outlets, at the time of the match Stirfry made an appearance in a Cordelian court room.
In accordance with Rude March of Madness™ Rules & Regulations, Chapter 14, section 5, Failure to Appear, Stirfry was deemed disqualified from competition and CCUMM has advanced his opponent, Kreedis, to the Fort Conference Championship® match vs. Bellow in the Butthole Eight®. Stirfry has been made aware of this decision and accepts CCUMM's ruling.
CCUMM does not condemn or condone Stirfry's actions in court, but in response to repeated press inquiries to the committee and Stirfry, Stirfry has agreed to deliver a brief statement regarding the events. CCUMM does not have any comment at this time on Stirfry's relationship with the gavel, and looks forward to an exciting conclusion to the 2021 Rude March of Madness™, on behalf of our fans, competitors, and corporate sponsors.
