Also I ended up changing the layout from the thumbnails on the fly, I realized the most important part of the page was them staring down at their destination, so obviously it should have the most real estate on the page. And what I thumbed in the second panel felt a little flat! I wanted something a little more dynamic! I'm pleased with how this page ended up.
