You wearing pretty much the exact same western outfit as Marty in 1955 is amazing. "I didn't realize there was a bullet in it" lol please please please never handle a real gun. Wasn't sure how much you knew about Clint Eastwood and why it was so cool that Marty picked that name. If you're not aware, Clint Eastwood is the most iconic Western actor of all time. He's been in like 20 of them. Biff was actually watching a Clint Eastwood movie in the hot tub in the second movie, and the scene mirrors exactly what Marty does at the end of the 3rd (using the piece of metal as the bullet proof vest.) When Marty comes out at the end for that fight, he is wearing Clint Eastwood's iconic poncho. If you want to explore actual westerns, Clint Eastwood is where you should start, and it should be the Dollars Trilogy, which is A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, and The Good the Bad and the Ugly (probably the best western ever made). To answer a few other questions you had, one about american history, they were in California in 1885, California became a state in 1850, and the US became a country in 1776 (colonized in the early 1600's). The stuff Marty spit out at dinner in the beginning was buckshot, small metal pellets from where the rabbit was shot. 88mph is roughly 142kph 7-11 is indeed a convenience store, which is where Marty learned to shoot (it's where he played the Wild Gunman arcade game growing up) When Marty gets back to 1985, there's a sign showing that Clayton Ravine is now called Eastwood Ravine. Anyway, great reactions and I'm glad you had fun with the movies. It's a great trilogy and they're fun to watch again and again. As for other movie suggestions, Jaws is a great one even though it's from 1975, not the 80s. For 80s, you definitely still need to watch The Goonies! Also stuff like Ghostbusters, The Breakfast Club, The Terminator... too many to list, really. Looking forward to whatever you choose.
