A few hours ago, I was going about my day normally when I was called by the PD letting me know my car had been stolen, the driver had been pulled over, and the car was towed.
I had no idea my car was even missing from my driveway as I hadn't gone outside today, they said that the tow occurred around 3am, so everyone in the house was asleep when the break-in must have happened. My car was damaged extensively, some valuables (including my 7 month old's $400 car seat) stolen, and on top of that— I have to pay for the tow.
I don't know how much it'll be to fix the car. I don't have comprehensive coverage, strictly collision and it wasn't involved in an accident, so there's no help that I can get from my insurance.
That's why I'm here. I don't know how much I need, I can't give an amount— I can only say I need help. I'm sorry to ask for it, I hate that I am, but I need my car. I am chronically ill, I have doctor appointments up the ass to get to and I live in an area that is by no means walkable.
I know that I have been more or less absent for a month and I apologize for that. Being a mom to a 7 month old requires literally 110% of my energy and effort. I wish I could go back to posting 3 times a week, but it is genuinely so hard. Though, I posted an audio just now and will do my best to be more consistent. I have 3 more audios scheduled so that I won't fall behind again.
