Patreon launch, expectations and goals met!

Hey folks!

First of all, since this is the first message to all my patrons, I'd like to deeply thank all of you for your willingness to support me! It means so much to me. I did not dare think that Patreon would go this well right off the bat and I'm thrilled! I will work hard to keep making it better and better in this new format!

I don't intend on putting out too many of these text-only posts because I know it can be annoying sometimes, but since we're here, there are a few points I'd like to touch just to keep everyone on the same page!

1) Patreon plans and expectations

Now that we have Patreon going, my personal goal is to have at LEAST two new stories a month that are personal and of my own, which means they will be going through Patreon first for early access (as well as having their drafts here, etc). There might be more than two and, in fact, I hope so, but I want to commit to making at LEAST two. Some of them might be shorter, some of them longer, but they will be there!

I still have some collaborations going on and for those, it might happen that they will be released everywhere at the same time as in Patreon (but I will still post them here too for the sake of convenience). That is because, as they involve other people, it is hard to keep them private for my own sake. The stories written for Patreon will take priority over them, however, as I intend to work hard to deliver here!

I will also do my best to be as interactive as possible! That will come mostly, at first, in the format of "Idea Pools" and polls. That being said, another thing that I am considering is now that the Patreon is running and I managed to get a good view of how things are, is to shift the tiers a little bit. 

Fear not, I don't plan on making any radical changes and anything that I do change, I will notify everyone of so anyone that wishes can adjust their pledges accordingly if they wish to do so. If anything, I plan on perhaps shifting a few rewards to lower tiers so as things currently stand, everyone should get more than they already do. This is still up for discussion though and I will try to figure it out soon!

2) Goals met

The first two goals I had set are already met! That was faster than I expected, but I couldn't be happier about that fact. :)

As promised by the second goal...

"When I reach this goal, I will also look into getting an artist to commission a piece of art to go with one of my next stories for a big art + story combo! The theme of what it'll be with be a choice of a few put on vote for patrons to decide."

I'm excited about this! It'll take a while to construct, but I will try to be fast! I'm going to already start thinking about a few possible themes of art to get and then put them into a pretty poll so people can choose which one they favor the most! At the same time, I'll be looking for artists available to turn it into reality for the story that will come with it!

I'm not the best at finding artists, but I do have a few in mind! I tend to be a bit picky and since this is a special piece, I want it to be of high quality, so I will not hold back on expenses to get it!
