Tier updates, news and the future

Hey guys!

It's been a while since I've done one of these... maybe I should do more of them? I'm never sure if people will be annoyed by getting notifications of just a random update about myself or not. Anyways! I've got some news and changes I needed to make, so let's get to it!

First of all, I apologize for the slightly reduced amount of stories being posted in these last two months. I've been bending over backwards to keep writing everything I had to write because, since february, I got a new day job again and adaptation was being a bit troublesome. That reduced my writing time significantly and I was still trying to find the best way to keep going despite the new job. I'm happy to say things are working well now, I think I've found my rhythm, and while the job itself is what gives way to the rest of the changes, I think I can keep going! Sorry about everything and thank you for bearing with me!

SO! The changes! There's two major changes I'm making to Patreon:

1) I'm removing the top tier with a story reward every 2 months. 

I used to be better at handling two 5k+ stories every two months, but with my reduced writing time it's been hard to catch up on them and still be able to write everything else I want to write. I feel bad because both people holding the top tiers were great to work with, but I felt like I had to do it, so starting next month the top $50 tier will be gone for now.

2) I'm also removing the commission priority from all lower tiers. 

I'm issuing this as a warning in case anyone is holding a tier just in the hopes of getting a commission. While the previous change DOES make it more likely that I'll open a few commission slots sometime soon, after months of Patreon I haven't had a chance to open commissions yet and that feels wrong. I can't offer something that I'm not sure I can deliver on and I apologize for not having been able to. Not only that, but giving priority on commissions also goes against the spirit of my process that usually involves choosing a few and all. The commission discount, however, will remain, but I'll make it clear that it only applies if and when I open for commissions and the request gets chosen. It feels fair that, since someone is supporting me on Patreon, they get to pay a bit less when commissioning me on top of that.

Those are the two big changes I'm going to make starting on June. I'm sorry if they feel like bad news! While it does kinda suck, not having to work on the top tier stories will free me to write some of the things that have been in my writing queue forever and I REALLY want to get out, as well as a few little things I've felt inspired to write and just didn't have the time to do it. Long story short: more of my own kinky stories! Some of the things on my shortlist of next things I'm going to write are:

* The next chapter of my How Royalty Works series

* The portal-themed story to go with that art that is very much late

* The third chapter of my Horde's Conquest series

* Finish a few collaborations I have going on

And much more! I also really want to open another idea pool soon since it's been a while and the last one was a lot of fun! Keep your eyes open for that!

That's pretty much it. This announcement is already a wall of text but I'm pretty bad at making announcements that AREN'T a wall of text! If you've stuck with me and read all the way to this point, there is one last point I wanted to touch on...

I've also been considering the possibility of making a game. I actually have a degree in game development that I don't act on, but regardless of that, I just think I could do something cool with something like that. To make clear why I'm saying this here is because I'm thinking about making a TEXT game. Kind of like a CYOA kind of thing where you read a story and do a few things to direct it, but a bit more elaborate. Details are still very much in the thinking, but I'm open for suggestions! 

It would most definitely be full of kinky stuff, both rough and nice, and spoiler alert, there would be wolves... ;)

But we'll see! If I do anything of that sort though, be sure that Patreon will be the first to see it and I'll provide as many chances as I get to help me direct the way of it as well.
