Why Americans Fight Over Identity

It basically combines three theories together: one on the rise of identity and identity politics in liberal societies that we see from thinkers like Fukuyama and Trueman, a second theory on inherent tribalism and group conflict from people like Haidt and Chua, and a third on the nature of political division in America, mostly from Huntington. I thought any one on its own wasn't satisfying, and that bringing them together gives a fuller picture of what's going on. Hopefully you guys like it.
I'm currently on a mini vacation (for 5 days, the first vacation I've taken in years), and plan on making another Patreon video right when I get back.

The photo you showed of US Presidents and privilege is well known. Their is something I would label "cis-gendered heterosexual Black male privilege". If you are outside those "identities" you get treated poorly within the "Black (monolithic) Community" .
