Demons Within Captured Ending Update previews 1

Hey heeeey!

As promised, the previews tier will be eating well these following days! Starting right now with the first of the new CGs that will make the much-awaited bad ending!

This one isn't THAT much of a surprise. Most of you, if not all, have already seen it in Dangpa's awesome preview post of the image set he made for Demons Within. As a reminder, you can still see just the images right now real quick on his Patreon, where they were posted first since he was a super stand-up dude and collaborated with me to create all of this awesomeness! He deserves a lot of praise!

That being said, however, this would be a poor preview post if all I was showing was this previously seen image. I'll show all FOUR images little by little, one by one, but I'd like to go through some quick thoughts about them from me as I do and, as a bonus on this one, I'd like to talk a little bit and show some of the first drafts and sketches we did for the bad ending scenes. Shown with his permission but previously unseen!

When Dangpa and I got in contact (thanks to Raus from his work on Shelter, by the way!), I was elated to find that he knew and liked Demons Within from the get-go. I got the same reaction I've gotten from a million people up until now: "I can't wait to see that pending bad ending!", and that was awesome! Before we even talked, Dangpa sketched up his own inspired art sketch for the bad ending and the moment I saw it, I was very pleased with how much it aligned with my overall vision of it. Check it out!

Isn't that AMAZING? Resnick, under Lust's influence, lost within the big bull's arms and Gunther never having enough of the wolf (also because of someone's influence). That's amazing.

From the very beginning, this bad ending was supposed to be about Lust, or YOU, choosing Lust over Resnick. I might even make it clearer in the lead-up to the bad ending that when you infuse Gunther as he's winning to create a kinky situation with the two, it's about Lust realizing that this is a very lustful opportunity to feed on it. That this bull has lots of it, and that this is an opportunity to keep it going and continue to feed on more direct reserves of lust.

That, of course, goes directly against Resnick's own personal desires at the time, but if you choose lust over the wolf, well... Lust is what you get. Lust is what Resnick gets. Lust is what everyone gets. ;)

When Dangpa and I continued to talk, I had this overall plan of the bad ending in my head, but I didn't even have a proper sequence of how the events would go. We discussed it together and threw around some ideas. At the beginning, I was expecting him to draw up ONE full CG for the bad ending, which would already be plenty, and Dangpa was so awesome that he presented me with a few options in a way he usually sketches options up.

As we go through future images, you'll all see that some of these sketches came to life, chosen to become reality, and some of them don't. Can you guess which ones did? >:)

So many good options! It was hard to choose. Dangpa was amazing when he, tried out some styles and inspired by the project, ended up bringing four of them to full CGs for a great, evolving story told with amazing visuals.

That story is what I've been writing. I believe that, because of it, it ended up being even longer and more elaborate than initially planned, but I think that's a good thing! Those that have been craving seeing this what-if will be happy, I hope, because the visuals AND kinky writing are off the charts! (I finished the entire writing for the bad ending just TODAY!)

Even though not all of those came to be, I can still talk a little bit about the premise between each one. From left to right:

1 - Gunther giving it to Resnick right after the fight. This one obviously DID come to be and you can see the end result at the top of this post, heh. This is the first CG you'll see in the bad ending when Gunther gets some retribution from the soldier for all the trouble he's caused in the process of being captured. Retribution to the poor wolf's butt, of course, in the way only a brute thug can give.

2 - Gunther carrying his captured prize to his destination. Not much to say about this one. Simple, straightforward, but still incredibly pleasant to see. ;)

3 - This one is a bit reminiscent of the first draft I've shown. Gunther and Resnick going past some kind of checkpoint and the wolf being hidden and kept quiet through lustful acts (probably with Lust's help!)

4 - Resnick living his life as a mercenary's pet!

5 - Gunther taking on his property and the wolf showcasing the intensity of living with a big bull

6 - Some kind of final screen, where Resnick is shown spent and used through his new life under the mercenaries

I thought that seeing some of the process, what was and even what could have been but ended up not being would be pretty cool and interesting! I, for one, loved to see every sketch of the process for each CG that was being made! We'll talk more about the next ones in the next posts showing them (coming soon!), but for now, let's focus a bit on the first one again.

I won't show them here on Patreon for several different reasons, but you can all catch a glimpse at the full previews of the first sketch, the final result and even the ALT version of the beautiful first CG on the discord server's preview gallery RIGHT NOW! Since this is available only for preview patrons, I ask that discussions about it as a whole be made inside the thread where the images are shown in the gallery!

I think I made this post long enough already. I hope you all will like my thoughts, some previews about things as a whole and seeing all the drafty possibilities of this beautiful and unfortunate bad ending for our little hero, Resnick!
