as part of the john oliver defense force i cant believe u didnt like his line at the start. Hendo is RIGHT u missed the setup. I hope season 6 is good I've never watched it.

2025-10-08 21:18:18 +0000 UTCDefinitely not the best finale but a little context does help it a bit: At this point in time, Community had more or less been cancelled and that despite the cult fanfare, without better ratings and additional funding (eg: subway actually fronted money to fund Community/cover their over budget costs in exchange for in-show advertisment) the show was not going to come back. You'll notice in these past two eps as well as a lot of areas in the next season; theres gonna be a lot of meta commentary on trying to work for a network's needs vs sticking to what feels right for the show; imo
