More progress on my SEX CARTOON

Here's a little more of my progress, I don't know how much to show you all because I kinda don't want to spoil it, but then maybe that why you're all here? To observe the creative process in all it's frustrating and erogenous details. I could just give you all like an update at the end of any time I make progress if you like? Would mean that when it's done there wouldn't be anything to surprise you but maybe being along for the journey is more exciting anyway? I don't know, share your thoughts :3

Anyway, I'm doing a mix of low detail animation and higher detail animation with less frames. The low detail bodies let me animate much faster and so I can do more frames and get nice smooth motion in a reasonable time. The more detailed drawings will have much less frames and any large movements will be key-framed rather than drawn frame by frame, whether I use one or the other comes down to which I think is best for communicating what I want to show. I don't plan these at all, I just get an idea and start adding scenes and bits until it hopefully concludes into a finished thing. this is bad, I should defiantly script and story board first... but I DON'T WANNA AND YOU CAN'T MAKE ME :3

And the un-censored bit's are in the attachments if you wanna peek 'em <3

And I have a few screenshots of ToonSquid with me working on it.

Scotty, I put a shot of the camera panning thing in there for you ( In case you don't already know, when you press 'add layer' there is an option for a camera, you can then resize and keyframe movement for it as you please, very handy)

Then there's my frame-by-frame animation process; I draw outlines and use onion skinning to fill in all the frames, then I colour them individually on a separate drawing layer while fighting the self destructive urge inside me to add highlighting and shadows to each frame too!

Last is the Library, which is the thing you use to keep your project organised. I have found that it is ESSENTIAL to use this and keep it really well organised when doing something even mildly complex. It's really heartbreaking when you literally just lose a clip you spent time and effort on animating, not to a failure to save or a hardware failure , but because you just can't find it because it was called "Unnamed" and you have 30+ other clips also called "Unnamed" in the same folder.

So yeah, LOVE YOU

From someone who’s is totally ignorant regarding graphic art or computer animation I’d like you to share as much of the process as you can. Just an aside , a friend of mine made a fortune founding a company that “ recolorized “ old Disney films. Recolorized is my word. By the time I knew him his company no longer existed and he said “ what we used to do my 5 year old daughter can now do on a pc.”

I'm fascinated with the whole process. I love seeing how you build al this. It's similar to how I write songs. Parts will just flow out, then I fit different parts together, then trim and expand where necessary, and never in the same order. Every song will organically decide for itself how to be born. Writing takes a little more forethought, but then it always changes throughout the process. The challenge is reaching the end I already have in mind, because I don't usually know exactly how I'm going to get there, and sometimes even that changes. Your system is working if you're getting the work done and getting your vision down. You're not on a timeclock. It takes as long as it takes. I have that problem with momentum myself, where if I don't keep working a little bit every day I can lose my train of thought, or just lose my energy, then I have to build it up all over again. this is clearly cathartic for you (at least so it seems) so I'm guessing just the endeavor itself is rewarding for you. I hope so. Anyway, bye,

I'm ambivalent too. I love all the tech details and witnessing your progress on the board and all that, but what I really want is to feel the erotic energy of you imagining your lovely self getting gangbanged. So, bit by wip preview is good and I can't wait to see the feature presentation.

I tend to just start without a major plan to any of the in between and only focus on making sure it aligns with your intended ending. I've got no idea what my character are going to end up doing until I take a seat and have a cup of whiskey before typing; it's their show from there while I am writing. Screw those plan-ahead folks! Also, what software do you normally use?

That's a tough one. I want to watch as you make progress. But I also want to be surprised.... I rolled a D20, and it came up even, so I say show progress for this one, and the next one surprise us.
