Double post!! Juno Comic, complaining about reddit and Caught short update 6? (I forget, also big penis sex warning)

I made this comic about the new character in Overwatch. Incase you don't play it or know nothing about this character; she's from a mars colony which is soon to die. She's just a kid really, young and naive and also kinda awkward in an endearing way. She also obviously been designed to be very sexy, which I do think is a bit problematic personally but it does work with the character as it makes her seem even more potentially vulnerable. Anyway, the colony on mars is full of scientists and, while it's not explicitly stated, I think it's strongly implied that upon realising that the colony was doomed and that they only had the resources to send one person back to Earth, they opted to save the youngest and equipped her with high tech tools to keep herself safe. In game she has a gun which heals allies and kills enemies; couple this with her shouting out stuff like "I have no idea what is going on!" mid battle, and I assume she just indiscriminately shoots everyone she sees in a panic and the fool proof gun she has keeps her from killing the wrong people.

Moving on, the gun has a little red angry face on it's hud when it's aimed at a bad-guy and a happy blue face when it's aimed at a good-guy, I like that. I like the idea of a tool you can point at someone and it will tell you if they mean you harm or not, so I made a comic about a creepy Cassidy ( who is outlined in red because he is a baddy, and also he's not Cassidy, he is Mcree who you can look up if you want to know why that makes him bad) trying to groom Juno. Juno, however, is aware that he means him harm because her gun has told her so. It's a funny idea I think...

But, I posted this on reddit because I wanted karma and... yeah. I got chewed out by a minority for "depicting harmful male stereotypes". I got extremely hurt by this, they completely didn't get the joke and it came across to me like they were all defending the behaviour depicted in the comic which, as someone who was very messed up by that sort of thing, was quite hard to read. I took it down after an hour and died for a couple of days, oh well :( Also, I totally hould have posted it here first, right? That's a patreon perk isn't it?

More work done! I've done a load more than this but I thought, as it's been a while, I'd give you a another rundown of my workflow because it has once again changed! The more I learn, the more tricks I pick up, but also I get more ambitious and each new bit takes longer than the last. Oh well, hopefully when it's done it will have been worth all the effort...

Anyway, So I wanted a close up side view sort of x-ray of the first time the guy stuffs his comically oversized cock into our stretchy and suspiciously cavernous Alice toon. So I just quickly did some rough key frames and added a few in-betweens to get a feel for what I wanted:

Wonderful, that looks great you may be thinking. well, it works as a rough, but experience has taught me now that if I went and tried to go straight to rendering a nice, neatly done sequence from this it would be horrible. It's hard to tell but the proportions of everything are changing, you can defiantly see that the penis is seemingly just growing larger and larger as the animation goes on. Still, I was happy with the feel of it, so then I must do the SECOND DRAFT OHHH:

So this is the second draft, it has all the frames which I will draw and it was drawn using a reference to keep everything in proportion. It's kinda psychedelic, reminds me of that bit in The Wall where there's an animation of flowers having aggressive flower sex. It's hypnotic... anyway, so from this I can now start the extremely long process of doing it neat, to tease that, I have done only the first 4 frames to show you:

Now, hopefully you went "WOW" or at least went, "oh, neat, yeah, that looks good", because this is a complete pain in the arse to animate with all the shadows and such and would be genuinely impossible without the better draft and other tricks I use such as making correct use of the layers in Toonsquid. Also, you may have noticed how I turned the first 4 frames into a clip nearly 3 seconds long; this is also a trick and a very important one, you must milk every frame for as much as you can because spending even 30 mins on a drawing is a lot when it's only used once and only present for a 12th of a second.

So yeah, I first thought this cartoon would take me maybe a month, at this rate I'll be amazed if I finish it before the end of the year, I still haven't thought about voices or sound effects or music or anything so waa.
