Not sure if you noticed it, since you were talking when they said it. But Jaune's semblance isn't a healing semblance. He was using his aura to amplify Weiss' own. And as we learned from Pyrrha when she unlocked Jaunes aura, it is our aura that can both protect AND heal us, and Jaune has a lot of it. So.... yeah, in a way he did heal her, just... not quite so directly.
