What are Salem's weaknesses would be useful too.
2020-10-27 02:39:28 +0000 UTCIf you go back to look at the talk with Pyhhra and Ozpin back in Volume 3, before they tell her about the maidens, (episode 6, I believe), Ozpin asks Pyhhra what her childhood fairy tales were. She lists some, including The Tale of the TWO BROTHERS, the Girl in the LONELY TOWER, and the MAIDENS. Literally Salem's backstory right there in old fairy tales. Also, as with Genies, you gotta watch your phrasing when asking a question. "How do I destroy Salem" is a very specific question that is kind of useless. "How can Salem be beaten" is a better one, seeing as she's immortal, and isn't focused on Ozpin specifically being the one to face her. "How can I ensure Salem fails" would be the best one. (Though the relic can't tell the future, so technically it might cross into that territory)

2020-10-25 17:31:10 +0000 UTCEh, they are Yin and Yang, life cannot grow forever lest it become a mockery of itself so death comes in due time for all, the fire that devours the field seeds the ashes for the next generation, the floods wipe away but bring the rich soil from which life grows again. Both Oz and Salem have failed to understand the four gifts of humanity in whole and their failures are a result of that.

2020-10-25 02:04:48 +0000 UTCPerhaps a minority opinion here, but Salem and Ozpin are the victims here, along with the rest of humanity. The real Big Bads of the series are the Gods of Light and Darkness. Defintely a pair of S-tier Fuckbois. Hoping the final solution involves a united Remnant telling them both their return is neither wanted nor needed.
