Don't forget that the gods themselves had faunus features (GoL having antlers). I always thought that the god of D's essence touched the moon when he left. pieces of that moon then came crashing into the world. If man was born from dust then maybe Faunus were born from moon dust

I noticed it running across the bridge when Oscar throws the grenade at the flying Grimm that passes under the bridge

You didn't notice (I think you were reading the subtitles and it's a small detail) but the Grimm at the end is in the episode at 3 points before it attacks Oscar, as far as I know. Once on the bridge at the end of the shot where Yang does the stunt on the bike, once when Oscar is having his internal dialogue, and one other time I don't remember but I recall noticing. It's absolutely terrifying, just silently on the horizon, not knowing when it'll appear next. Just learning about it's prey before attacking.

watching these reactions (especially including the one from murder of birds) made think back of my old favorite theory and come up with a new one a) raven beeing a very old and highly evolved grimm and thus making yang a hybrid - got more or less destroyed by having qrow as a brother and a backstory which makes her look like such a looser character (funny - especially after the finale of v5 that yang now starts to copy her...) b) that pool of darkness from the god of d. which made salem eternal is the main source/fuel for the grimm - like some kind of raw material - in the old days it was infinite thanks to the god himself but the grimm had more resistance (magic, god of light, etc.) - now the gods/magic are gone and the pool gets used up more and more started to have that idea after seeing these black "smal droplets" at the after credit scene were she was making the flying monkeys especially if she just made the whale for attacking atlas it should have used up a giant amount... would be one logical reason so far why she was always hiding and never attacking in numbers [plus maybe in a similar way the humans came back from the pool of light - and the faunus from some animal which fell into it...]

You see a smart grim takaled cute boy oze destoyed ish aura and kidnaped him o you wer being sarkastic. loved your reaction . seeing the rest of the teems slow reacton ot this remieds me tha thtyear stil human. after all evey one can be efected by shock. O and the grim had a seprise round with multaple atacks and ledgendery actons.
