Near as I can guess the orange petals are the longing/missing that both Elm and Harriet have, the Red is fury the blue is doubt the green is sorrow and the pink is love. The real question in my mind is why he doesn't see Yang's emotions as he sweeps past. Either its because he can chose who he reads (suggested by how he switches focus from Harriet to Marrow while both are still in frame) and he chose not to read his teammate OR he only sees emotions that are suppressed and Yang lives with everything on the surface (except worry for Blake which she is doing a poor job hiding but still not being open about)
