Happy new year!!! May 2022 treat you all well!

This year... Was certainly a weird one for me, a lot of things have happened in my personal life that are a little too much of a downer to talk upon, but one of the most exciting and perhaps most positive outcomes of this year for me, was opening my Patreon.

Over the year my channel has seen a growth I absolutely didn't except this time last year. Nearly 30k extra people subscribed to my channel, which is absolutely gob-smacking to me. Whilst I never view subscriber numbers as indicative towards the efforts and skills of a channel, I'll admit, it still left me ending this year with a sense of compassion. And most importantly, insistence drive.

This year I was able to cover a whole lot of mediums. Of anime, manga, comics and other projects that I love. But I was also able to do things I've ... never done before, nor thought I ever would. I did my first collaboration ever, with Joe aka Beyond Ghibli. I opened and started a Discord with a whole bunch of you who are lovely and share your thoughts on my videos or manga opinions. I found the courage to do a q&a video and some Livestreams despite my social anxiety making that extremely difficult.

I was able to push myself in ways that allowed me to undertake challenges I never thought I would. And a whole lot of that is helped by all your support. This whole Patreon thing is still rather new to me. Heck, the channel is only really 1.5 years old, I'm still a newbie all things considered! So to have you guys helping me along the way... Well, I don't have any others words but thank you.

For 2022 I have big plans!! I'm currently working on my next manga recommendation video, and the video after that will also be a Stylised or Realism manga analysis/discussion video. But I have so many ideas I want to do, and I can't wait for you guys to see them all!
