How Fujimoto showcases Loss in Chainsaw Man
Added 2022-10-19 20:24:14 +0000 UTCIT'S FINALLY HERE!! After 500+ panels cut out and animated, the eventual wait is no more - my video on Chainsaw Man (of which, was one of my Patreon goals, that, thanks to you guys, I had reached) is now available to watch!
I haven't really seen anyone cover this topic as such on youtube for this manga - and there is a lot of videos on this series - so I hope i'm able to bring something new to the table! The video will be released publicly for everyone to watch tomorrow, of which the subtitles will also be available.
Next week I'll also be releasing a BTS video showcasing the ins and outs of the process of making this challenging video - and we'll also be having a watch-along of the movie Wendell & Wild on Thursday 27th October (i'll release more info on that in a few days).

I figured Fujimoto was a cinephile after the Togata character in Fire Punch. I always though Chainsaw Man was brutal, but I think you put it much more eloquently than that by focusing on loss :) Denji's journey from having nothing, to having a few things, to having a life and friends, and then genuinely making decisions and making something of his own life is wild and beautiful. Still trying to decide if I like what's happening in the ongoing newest part, but I think adding new characters and focusing on them has been a good step so far.
