How I animate manga (basics tutorial)
Added 2023-02-21 20:30:03 +0000 UTCSo this tutorial was a long time coming (sorry, these tutorials actually end up being time consuming, I think it took me a couple of hours to do the tutorial alone before editing this video 😂 Will know that for the future!) . But many have asked for some tutorials on how I edit manga - or any still imagery, for that matter.
I tried to be as clear as I could throughout, but I'm still a wee bit camera shy, so it's definitely something I'm still working on - but I think this is clear enough.
Do let me know if this helps any of you guys out, both Photoshop and After Effects can be scary as a beginner!

Is also incredible how long it takes to make this kind of effect, in a normal video of yours it'll be 10 of those in the 3-minute mark, talking about impressive. If it is okay with you, it will be cool to see other parts of your edition process. Your work is so unique! Thank you for sharing this whit us!

2023-03-31 17:46:54 +0000 UTCIt's definitely time consuming and difficult haha, couldn't agree more! But I think knowing little hints and tips really helps out! Berserk has been difficult only because of how highly detailed it is, definitely do-able but not as easy as CSM or Witch Hat. But, practise makes perfect! Glad it helped it any way ☺️

I was the most interested in the redrawing part in Photoshop, since it's the most time consuming and more difficult part for me when I tried this kind of animations. But you made it sound easy!
