Channel/Video Update!
Added 2023-08-31 18:51:41 +0000 UTCHey all! It's been a few weeks since the Gravity Falls video, so I wanted to do a little update as to what I've been working on, and what you can expect between now and October!
At this moment in time I'm currently working on my third manga recommendation video - these videos are a 'fan favourite' on the channel, and I haven't done one in more than a year and a half. So, look forward to 6 more manga being shoved your way!! Some of which I might go into further detail on the channel in the future, because some of these are bangers!
I'm hoping to get this video out around the middle-ish of September. The scripting and recording is all finished, and it's looking to be around 25 minutes long - so that deadline isn't set in stone. (The joys of manga animation editing!) Will definitely be a September release though, that I can promise!
The next project after this I'm going to be keeping a secret - but I'm so stoked to work on it!! It's very fitting for the spooky season (anyone noticed how Halloween stuff feels a lot earlier this year? Not that I'm complaining) It's an amalgamation of multiple things I enjoy: Horror and Character Design! I'll keep the thumbnail a secret for now, too!
And then the third project I've been doing some drafting for, is covering the manga The Summer Hikaru Died, again, another pretty fitting video for the spooky season. I'd have done this one first, but the second volume doesn't come out until the middle of October, so I pushed it back a little so as I can buy and analyse that volume for the topic, too.
So, I'm a very busy bee at the moment!! But I hope you guys will enjoy the content nonetheless!
Also, whilst I'm not getting my hopes up in case of disappointment, depending on the performance of these videos, 100k subscribers might actually be closer than we think! I'll talk about this more at the time, but I'll be sure to *actually* do a Q and A video as a celebration, and I'll have your guys' questions be a priority!

Anytime any of them drop I'll be there to watch :) I definitely have friends who love horror and its through them that I get exposed to it usually haha. Some Ito and Kago always comes my way. The only show I actively watch on my own is Yamishibai because they're nice and short, it's not even an amazing show and isn't even always horror but there's something about the low-budget nature of it that I just enjoy a lot.

2023-08-31 20:17:30 +0000 UTCI was potentially thinking about doing an anime rec video at some point! From some underrated classics to newer ones that have gone under the radar. Will give it more thought! Also woth movies/shows too. I was thinking a comics one first, as that's not too far from manga! Horror has always been my favourite genre actually haha. If the film is great, that's amazing. If it's terrible, I can still laugh and enjoy it. 😂 I never lose with horror. I know not everyone is a horror fan though, so I won't be going *too* into the gore and not show jumpscares.

I think anime/movie recs could be great fun as well, but if I had to pick a single medium manga would be it since it's much less talked about online overall. It's a nicer niche maybe :) Also looking forward to the horror stuff! I'm not the kind of person who leans towards horror but sometimes people recommend it and it can be pretty darn good.
