Spacewalking With You: The Manga That Understands Neurodivergence

I've had a lot of fun working on this video. The first chapter of Spacewalking with You is very strong, the last manga to leave an impression so quickly was Love Bullet, ironically around this time last year (that's gone so quickly!). Difference being, I barely see anyone talk about this manga, at least in the West. In Japan it's won a lot of awards and is very highly regarded. So maybe a live action or anime is the push it needs for more to know about it?
This video does contains spoilers for most of the first volume, and a few select visual spoilers for volumes 2 and 3. It's not really the spoiler-y type of story anyways, very much like Skip and Loafer in its slice of life...ness...
I do think it'd be an amazing story to give to teens though, or even parents, really. Gives insights that I don't think everyone (especially neurotypicals) are aware of.

Finally got to watch the video, it was wonderful. Despite all the good we are at related to others, it can be hard to break out of the confines of our own lived experiences. It is quite common to not be able to imagine that the inner workings of someone else's mind might be completely different. I hope the video helps people consider that. It would be a very interesting world if we could have something like sense8 on a global scale so people could literally feel the struggles and pain of others, forced empathy.
