Updating my Patreon tiers
Added 2022-12-11 01:40:00 +0000 UTCWhen I originally created my Patreon in 2014, it was little more than a tip jar. I didn't know what to offer or what anyone was expecting. As the years went on, I added new tiers for the new stuff I was offering but very little has changed since 2017 when I had pretty much what I offer now (except the once charity tiers).
So in an effort to simply my life and offer more to my patrons, I'm condensing the tiers and doing away with others. Don't worry though, you don't have to do anything. You can stay at the tier your at and still receive the same great benefits. I'm mostly just letting you know they they're changing in case you go to my page and can't find yours.
YOUR PERKS ARE NOT CHANGING OR GOING AWAY IF YOU'RE A TREASURE HUNTER, SCOUT, OR SURVEYOR. The change only affects NEW patrons.
Essentially, this is what's happening:
- Ruebees ($1) will remain as it is.
- Treasure Hunters & Scouts ($2 & $3 respectfully) tiers will not be offered to new patrons.
- Navigators ($5) will remain as it is but now will have access to the cartography class.
- Surveyors ($6) will not be offered to new patrons as it's being merged with Navigators.
- Adventurers ($10), Explorers ($25), & Archivists ($50) will remain as they are.
Again, you don't have to do anything if you're happy where you are for tiers, I just want to keep you updated.
I'll also have another update happening in a few days with more exciting news (or at least I always hope it is!)
