A Questiary Adventure - Stronghold of the Shackled King

Good news and bad news - the bad news is that we're holding off on a monster release this week so that we have time to catch up and get ahead of schedule.
The good news is that we aren't leaving you guys with nothing; we wrote a 10th level one-shot adventure featuring Karkes, the Shackled King, as well as a bunch of of our recent other monsters.
Introduction
The Shackled King is a Fifth Edition adventure for three to six characters of 9th to 11th level, optimized for a party of four 10th-level characters. Karkes, the Shackled King, rules a small faction of loyal followers in his quest to free himself from his imprisonment and reclaim rightful rulership of the frozen lands of the Hoarwilds. This adventure features Karkes' lair, the fortress prison known as Slaughter's Watch, which has fallen into ruin after the collapse of Karkes' kingdom several hundred years ago. While Karkes and his underlings can make for a formidable campaign-level threat, the lair as outlined in this document is perfectly suitable for drop-in content to an existing campaign featuring appropriately-leveled characters as a standalone adventure. This adventure is set in the frozen lands of the Hoarwilds in the Questiary universe, but GMs should feel empowered to change specific setting details or other elements of this adventure to suit their own worlds and campaigns.
