2022-06-18 04:17:44 +0000 UTCFor the safari, this may be a bit more complicated, but what if you chose one safari pokemon and if it dies later, you can replace it with another safari pokemon? If I was in your particular situation, I might just take two or three because I would have normally separated the biomes into separate catch opportunities anyways. Lastly, not that you asked, but if it helps you for making or changing Nuzlocke rules, first consider why the rules are there in the first place, and if the change respects the intent of the original rule. Ex: for "buys", you might believe the rule is intended for players to have more diverse teams and prevent scenarios where you get the same shitty Bidoof 10 times because they're everywhere. In which case I would think keeping Sandslash is okay because you're choosing to not have the "better" alternative, which is a more diverse set of pokemon. I also think it would be a cool rule to forgo catching a new pokemon or two to revive an old one, but that may be more controversial.
