2022-09-23 19:35:55 +0000 UTCLarvitar is in the slow experience yield group which is the 2nd slowest group. If Alex wants a Tyranitar it's gonna be hell in Johto. At level 20 it has 10,000 experience. In order to get to level 55 it needs 207,968 total experience. So if Alex were to grind on only Tauros in Ice Cave and receive 633 experience for a level 21 and 693 for a level 23 it would require defeating 300 on average. In this episode he defeated 6 Tauros in 11 minutes and 20 seconds so according to my calculations it would take just over 60 twenty minute episodes of only grinding. But that's if he wanted one before the Elite 4 obviously. Or he could train in Victory Road but we haven't got there yet so I'm just goin off what we got right now lol I've been in his shoes with raising one from scratch in Johto and it's grueling.
