Damn people got mad over nothing in the comments... As someone who knows very little about the X-Men, haven't even seen all the movies, I tend to agree more with Alex. If I SAW them then yeah, obviously the ones that have weird outfits or are Blue would remind me of X Men more easily, but when Brett said "Mystique" I didn't even remember who that was until he said "blue lady", and I saw an X Men movie on a plane like 3 weeks ago. What would come to mind first to me would be: wolverine, cyclops, storm, gambit, beast, and maybe rogue or nightcrawler. Definitely not Xavier because he's not flashy enough to be memorable, definitely not mystique nor magneto because they are villains in my head so it's not who I think of first when I think X Men, and I didn't even *know* that deadpool was an X Men. Granted I'm 31 so I was a target age when the X Men cartoon was airing and in age to play marvel vs capcom, but I didn't really do either of those things a lot.

The problem is when you are doing a friendly debate and one of the involved starts dismissing the others opinion insisting that HIS opinion is going to be backed by other people no matter what the otherone thinks because HIS opinion is backed on facts. Which facts is he referring to? I dont know. Like I said before, he wasnt looking to debate, he was looking to be told he's right.

Me and my friends debate about who could beat who in comics and media all the time. sometimes we disagree then after a debate we're able to persuade the other and sometimes not. But in most cases it just boils down to opinions and some people aren't willing to change theirs and that's fine.
